What we believe:

1.  We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired by God and are inerrant in the original autographs.  They are the supreme and final authority in matters of faith and practice. (II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:21).

2.  We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; II Corinthians 13:14).

3.  We believe in direct and instant creation, that it was not a process, but was completed in six days by God (Genesis 1; John 1:1-3)

4.  We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, was born of the virgin Mary, and was true God and true man. (Matthew 1:18-25; Colossians 2:9).

5.  We believe that man was created in the image of God, and that he sinned and incurred physical and eternal death (Genesis 1:26-27, Romans 5:12-21).

6.  We believe that the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ provided the only way for man to receive salvation ( I Corinthians 15:3-4).

7.  We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ and His bodily ascension into heaven and His bodily presence there as our High Priest and Advocate (Acts 1:9-11).

8.  We believe in the personal, visible return of the Lord Jesus to earth to establish His eternal kingdom (Matthew 25:31).

9.  We believe that all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit.  They constitute the true children of God and are eternally saved. (John 1:12).

10.  We believe that Satan is literal and personal, that he was the cause of the fall of man, that he is the great deceiver of this age and will ultimately be defeated and judged ( Revelation 20:1-10).

11.  We believe in a literal heaven where the believers will inhabit for eternity and a literal hell where unbelievers will spend eternity (Matthew 25:46).

12.  We believe the local church has two ordinances which are baptism by immersion for believers and communion. (Acts 2:41; I Corinthians 11:23-26).

13.  We believe the two offices of the church are pastor (elder) and deacon (I Timothy 2:11-15).

14.  We believe that a New Testament church is a body of baptized believers assembled for worship, service, and spread of the gospel in all the world. ( Matthew 28:18-20).

15.  We believe that each believer has direct access to God through Christ without any human mediator ( I Timothy 2:5).

16.  We believe that God has created and ordained all authority consisting of three basic institutions: the home, the church, and the state. (Romans 13:1-7; Ephesians 5:22-24).

17. We believe that human life begins at conception and that the unborn child is a living human being.  We believe abortion on demand is the taking of a life created by God and impugns the dignity and sanctity of human life. (Psalm 139:13-16).

18. We believe that marriage consists of one man and one woman. God has given sex for marriage partners to enjoy. Sexual relationships outside of marriage violate God's intention for man ( Genesis 2:24; Hebrews 13:4).

19. We believe God has called each Christian to a life of growth in grace, repentance of sin, and love for others ( II Peter 3:18; Matthew 22:37-39).
